Accessibility statement

Veyas is for immigration practices, and the people they serve include clients reading in a second language and people using assistive technology. We want this website to work for all of them. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do

| Contrast | Text meets at least 4.5:1 against its background in both themes, including links and status labels. Focus rings and form borders meet 3:1. |
| Keyboard | A “Skip to content” link comes first. Every link, button and form control works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus ring. The carousel and tabs move with the arrow keys, and questions open with Enter or Space. |
| Images | Every screen shown from the app has alt text describing what it shows. Decorative icons are hidden from screen readers. |
| Forms | Every field has a label. Errors are written out in words, announced to screen readers, and point to the field that needs attention. |
| Status | Status is never shown by color alone; each one carries a word and a shape. |
| Motion | Entrance animations and smooth scrolling turn off when your system asks for reduced motion. |
| Touch | Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall on phones. |
| Themes | Light and dark themes, chosen with the toggle in the navigation. |
Known limitations
- Screens from the app are pictures, so their text cannot be selected or zoomed separately; the alt text and the copy beside each one describe it.
- The website is in English only. The client interview is designed for English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Haitian Creole. Beta interviews run in English. If your firm has clients who prefer another language, tell us when you sign up and we will test it with you.

If something on this site does not work for you, email info@veyas.ai and tell us the page and what happened. We reply within 24–48 hours and tell you what we are doing about it.
The product
The Veyas product is designed to the same standard, WCAG 2.2 AA, for both the attorney dashboard and the client interview. We will publish a separate statement for it at launch.
